This weekend Ashton and I got to spend the entire weekend to ourselves while Allegra went on a girls weekend to San Fransico. Among tackling and completing the “honey-do” list, we were able to hang out….just the two of us; something we haven’t done in a while! So this weeks Photo is us being men...  As a parent, the transformation of a child is daunting. In the beginning, you count seconds, minutes, and then hours until they fade into weeks and later, the weeks fade into months. Always counting. Counting: ounces, pounds, milestones, percentiles, teeth; time. One life can change understanding on so many unfathomable levels that are whispering shouts...  This week is more like photos of the week and they are all from my (amazing) birthday gift I got from Allegra; a 1 night stay at Quail Lodge and a day of golfing (first time staying in Carmel and first time golfing at a professional golf course).
