Rebecca + Jim [Cayucos Engagement]

One of the most amazing things to me is that love doesn’t have a recipe. It doesn’t follow a set of rules, perhaps it even breaks them. Love is in and of itself and defines itself as it is found. How many people have you asked, “How did you meet?” I think it’s something we take for granted. We miss a piece of a huge equation, we miss a sweet story, romance–we miss magic when we don’t ask the big questions.
One of the reasons I love engagement sessions is that a couple’s love story unfolds.Cayucos Engagement Session by San Luis Obispo Wedding Photographer Christan ParreiraCayucos Engagement Session by San Luis Obispo Wedding Photographer Christan ParreiraCayucos Engagement Session by San Luis Obispo Wedding Photographer Christan ParreiraCayucos Engagement Session by San Luis Obispo Wedding Photographer Christan ParreiraCayucos Engagement Session by San Luis Obispo Wedding Photographer Christan ParreiraCayucos Engagement Session by San Luis Obispo Wedding Photographer Christan ParreiraIn the mustard seed of the central coast, Rebecca & Jim revealed the elements of their love story that have become the sum of their impending vows. So while my wife ecstatically proclaimed that Rebecca & Jim should be a couple on the e*harmony commercials, I loved learning that that is how we all came together this day to capture their romance. Their entire shoot was based around Jim’s proposal site. It was the perfect place to get to know each other.
Rebecca & Jim, 8 weeks and counting! I’m so glad we’re now friends!

Letty Stobie Jim and Rebecca are a well matched pair. We wish them 71+ yrs of marriage like Jim’s Maternal Grandparents who at 97 and 103 are still going strong! Christan, your settings for the photos were very unique especially Rebecca’s engagement ring in the tall grass! Much success in the future.
